This one is very close to our heart and home, as we feature a home boy homie Satyarth as Dread Culture. Democrazy by Dread Culture is an EP. We have heard his music before, and when we listened to Democrazy, the EP struck all the right chords. Dread Culture is all about mixing it up. It’s difficult to classify Dread Culture’s music style. But if you like a little bit of everything, you will surely enjoy Democrazy.
You say rock, he has it. Psychedelic? He has it! You say rap, he has it! Indian classical? He has it! Afro? He has it! He has it all!!
Dread’s lyrics have traces of social issues, injustices. Simply put, it talks about the state of third world nations from a common man’s perspectives. “Music is a weapon of the future and we believe we can free the people with music” he says on his Spotify bio. And we kinda dig what he says!
Dread Culture is hands down one of the best experimental indie artiste we have come across in the current Indie music scenes and we are looking forward to catching him live here in Bangalore soon! So should y’all!!
