Delhi-based singer-songwriter Aayush Srivastava has released his third single, Bekhabar. A light-hearted romantic song, Bekhabar packs some fun lyrics with some solid instrumentation.
The first thing you hear is a sweet violin phrase. It kind of gives you an idea of what to expect next – a melancholic song. You would be wrong if you thought that! The jumpy muted strums on the guitar change the direction. From melancholia, Bekhabar turns toward fun, naivety, and adolescent love. Quirky reverbs, short SFX, and transitions make Bekhabar a good song for unwinding your bae.
Each part of the song has something to offer lyrically and musically. As the name suggests, Bekhabar reflects very well on being madly in love. Think of your one-sided teenage crush, and one day you muster the courage to confide your feelings to them, and to your surprise, they reciprocate it. We love a fairy tale, too!
Go down your memory lane with Bekhabar.
P.S. We at ICC do not review the music we post in our magazine because we want our readers and the artiste’s listeners to go and listen to the music with an open mind! We try to describe the song the way we perceive it and why we love it!
