“Inspiration for Bemausam Baarish came from a bitter phase that I went through in a relationship, where I questioned my importance in the other person’s life. I wrote this song in peak winters and it just happened to rain while I was writing it. That’s how I thought of Bemausam Baarish being a perfect metaphor for feeling unimportant. The song for me was cathartic in a lot of manners. It answered too many questions and ended too many insecurities, took some hope away from me, and gave back a lot of it“ Ashwin quotes.
P.S. We at ICC do not review the music we post in our magazine. We want our readers and the artiste’s listeners to listen to the music with an open mind as we try to describe the song the way we perceive it and why we love it!
