We are very proud to be a part Shivangi Aggarwal‘s debut release, Freefall. As the name suggests, the song immediately puts you in a carefree, let-it-go mood. Shivangi’s vocals on top of trip-hop and lo-fi sounding production makes Freefall a chill and introspective track. The lyrics, penned by Shivangi herself, explores all that we could undo, all the what-ifs, all the lost-to-get-found thoughts everyone experiences in their lives. Hopefulness, delicate romance, self-love, all these resonate very well with the lyrics, minimalistic instrumentation and overall timbre of the song. The most beautiful part of the song is when you hear a guitar solo come in. The solo is almost like an answer to Shivangi’s thoughts in the song.
We are loving this song and is on the loop. Go ahead, take a dose of Freefall and day dream a little!
P.S. Although we at ICC try our best not to review the music we post on our magazine because we want our readers and the artiste’s listeners to go and listen to the music with an open mind, we try to best describe the music in simple words to give it a flavour of our own.
