Hare Krishna is the 7th single by a versatile producer Neuroattack aka Manthan Gupta. His love and inspiration for progressive psy gave birth to the Neuroattack project. A wide variety of influences from producers like Mandragora, Kalya Scintilla, and labels like Alien Record and Spin Twist has given Manthan’s Neuroattack an edge to experiment and bring in his very own narrative and sounds to the progressive psytrance pallet.
Hare Krishna, like a typical psy number, has a touch of Indian folk and classical composition embedded into it. The beautiful Sitar tone instantly takes you to a soothing and peaceful place. The classical count-in-vox sample brings in an expected yet elegant first drop of the track, and from there on, it’s only thump after thump!
The pure progressive psy bassline provides a sturdy foundation and gives the soulful Sitar a warm welcome back at the main drop of Hare Krishna. The crisp modulations on the vocal sample are endearing to listen to and put you in a trance. A high-energy-packed number, Hare Krishna is an absolute raver!
Released on the label LSD, Neuroattack is cementing his place in the underground music scene one release at a time, and we are looking forward to such great releases coming from Manthan’s progressive psy project, Neuroattack!
Manthan also produces forest/dark psy project, called Mindgroove. We took a listen and haven’t been able to come out of the forest trip just yet!
