Sundarva by Bawari Basanti

This is a special one. Bawari Basanti‘s latest, Sundarva is such a dose of folk and electronica coming together for a hybrid listening experience. We love Basanti’s soundscape. The experimental, explorative textures take you to your favorite places mentally.

Sundarva, too, follows suit. The Lush and organic atmos layers over lovely sax melodies and Basanti’s harmonic vocals instantly put you in a meditative state. The genre-fluid song takes a lot of shapes – folk, electronica, retro-wave, you get the idea. So beautifully arranged that you can’t have enough of it. There are so many sounds to fill all of your hearing spectra. The transitions are so well and sweet that you will instantly know you will listen to Sundarva on repeat for the next couple of days.

Sundavra reflects the experience and the repertoire of a musician like Bawari Basanti. The whole team includes Quentin Biardeau on the sax, Léo Jassef on the keys, beats by Théo Lanau and Sébastien Bedrunes, the mix & master engineer. Together, they have weaved a masterpiece. We are absolutely loving the song. We declare Sundarva a “loop-worthy” song.

Go get your dose of some fine indie music

P.S. We at ICC do not review the music we post in our magazine because we want our readers and the artiste’s listeners to go and listen to the music with an open mind! We try to describe the song the way we perceive it and why we love it!
