Kunal gained popularity after joining various music reality shows. He now performs shows worldwide along with Vishal & Shekar Live. Music has been a part of his life since childhood. His father, Pradeep Pandit, taught him Indian classical music since he was five, and he started performing on stage at seven. Kunal has learned Jazz and Western music from gurus Raymond Pimenta, Raja Pandit, and Xavier Fernandes, and tabla with Mridangraj Suchak from Ajrada Gharana. He has also sung and produced for renowned film producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a few projects.
